Our story

A little retreat, made with love.

Lucy has worked in beauty for over 20 years: in spas at Center Parcs, on cruise ships, in Cyprus and in salons around Mansfield.

She went on to teach beauty in colleges and train therapists for brands like OPI and BeautyPro, and she still trains for the Million Dollar Facial today. In the middle of the pandemic she took the leap and opened The Beauty Stop, bringing together everything she'd learned in one calm, welcoming space.

Today she's joined by a team of brilliant self-employed therapists, each with their own specialism. Together, they've created the perfect retreat for all your beauty needs.

Good to know

Our salon policies.

⏰ 48-hour cancellation policy

Cancelling or moving within 48 hours of your appointment is charged at 50% of the treatment. Within 24 hours, or if you miss your appointment, the full price is charged. Please let us know as early as you can.

👁️ Patch tests

Some eye treatments need a patch test first. Book a free patch test, or give us a call to check.

🧸 Child-free salon

The Beauty Stop is a little retreat for grown-ups, so we're unable to welcome children into the salon. Please make other plans for little ones so you can properly relax.

🔔 Arriving

Please arrive on time, not early. The door may be locked while we're mid-treatment, so we can't always let you in before your appointment. There's plenty of parking outside, but please avoid the One Stop spaces.
